Congrats to the Buchy team on their win today! Another dominant performance and well earned!
Best of Luck in Montreal, may as well start the french lessons. I am serious, you would be loved there if you could speak some French.
Now on to another topic. Peelplus has eyes and ears all over this great province. My network is a combo of the CIA/KJB/Mercer Report and my intelligence network heard some chatter before this event that a certain team was gonna win it and it was only gonna take 35 ends. Peels has done the math and he didn't win and it took him 49 ends to not do it. Peels was also smart enough to wait to see if this bold prediction would come true before he questioned the um ..... bravado......ya thats it..... of the source.
CURLFUCIOUS SAYS "bold predictions are bold if they come true, but dumb if they don't"
I will not call out the young man who said it, simply tell him that he may have helped motivate the rest of the field. Maybe this is a new concept, don't know.
Congrats to the Buchy rink. Keeping the Kootenays proud. Seems like there is no other squad in the province that dedicates the time to this event than you guys. Another dominate performance. Good luck in Montreal. Say hi to all the Hab fans for me!
