This thread is over a year old. How did you even stumble across it?

Biggest problem with Jones was and still is a bit unsettled at the third position. Nedohin, despite not being Jones equal on the ice has seen Beth Iskiw (Dolly Dagger) come into her own.
Miriam Ott can sometimes be a shaky doubtful skip but Carmen Schaeffer has finally arrived. Next year, Kelly Scott's pity-patty game welcomes back the exquisite Jeanna Schraeder. Couple other strong thirds in the game as Amber Holland attempts to rebuild her team with Jolene Campbell featured at third - Emma Miskew no slouch at 3rd for Team Homan.
Manitoba, unfortunately features some of the weaker thirds in this great group. Cathy Overton Clapham had some amazing years with Laliberte and then Jones but seemed to slip a bit prior to Jones replacing her. The replacement, manitoba's hottest junior player in years, KT Lawes has worked out very well during cash spiels and slams but she sputtered down the stretch, especially in clutch situations at the last two scotts as Team JJ fell to Holland and Nedohin.
However, when it comes to great thirds in Manitoba Jones isn't the only one who has this problem. Chelsea Carey is an amazing shot-maker and really coming into her own but Kirsty Jenion (McDonald) isn't even as strong as Lawes. Cathy O. certainly doesn't receive sparkling support at third either.
Jones greatest strength is her indomitable will to win, her mental toughness and ability to throw just about any shot. Combined with one of the greatest front ends in women's curling Jones trudges on, facing adversity at high levels when her thirds get tormented by the games best thirds.
imagine if Jones ever hooked up with Chelsea Carey shooting third stones????

JJ lost to Lawton at PEI last night in 6 ends.
Jill was the only player on JJ's team who was really on her game.

Unless Jones wins another major event (aka Scott, Olympic trials, or Worlds) this thread will be right in flying colors, and thus far it is. That is to be expected though, I am pretty much always right on everything, so the fact I said this would happen makes it almost certain to.
