Not sure what the answer is. Used to be lots of travel but usually for at least a few days of curling. Now if only two teams travel almost as far for short playoff. I remember one year we went to senior provincials and to get to a one on one playoff in Prince Rupert had to fly through Vancouver. Was actually much shorter going to the provincials which were in Chiliwack. Travel is a huge factor in the Interior and with the emergence of super sponsored teams not much chance of success.
