Niklas in hospital?
Did I hear at the end of the broadcast today that the Skip for Sweden was in hospital (Niklas)?
I hope it works out for him....he is awful young to have a major back problem!

Hernia surgery it sounds like. Curious with it happening in Switzerland that something may have come up and they had to do something right away. He was recovering on Saturday watching the curling online, so it sounded like everything went well.

I wonder if it's something that was exacerbated by him playing hurt. Hope he recovers soon.

He apparently couldn't feel his toes, and so that's when they decided that the surgery had to be done ASAP.

This is a common skiing injury.. I wonder if that is how it happened?

It is not hernia surgery. He probably had back surgery for a herniated disc. Big difference.
