Let's Cure Lupus Spiel May 3-5 Blaine MN USA

Until just now, I hadn't realized this event is coming soon to a curling club near me. Nor did I know what top-level names are going to be in it.

It's a Celebrity Pro-Am style charity event to raise funds to cure lupus, and it's going to be held May 3 to 5, 2019 across two curling clubs in the north Twin Cities metro area in Minnesota.

It includes a celebrity skip "auction". Some of the names on the block, as it were, include Eve Muirhead, Glenn Howard, Chelsea Carey, Kevin Martin, Cathy Overton-Clapham, and many more.

Regan's Post

Just thought I'd update. Regan Birr, the event organizer and CEO of the Lupus Research Foundation (who also has Lupus) posted this today:

"GUYS, LUPUS SPIEL 2019 has raised $170,000! Thank you! Thanks for breaking records! Thank you for being you! Thank you for rocking it! Thank you for curing lupus! God bless you! Much more to come!"

A truly amazing event with 56 teams and celebs such as Eve Muirhead, Glen Howard, Chelsea Carey, and so many more! The curling community never fails to amaze with their generosity!
